ὃθεν καί ῾Ηράκλειτον ψυχῇσι ϕάναι τέρψιν μὴ θάνατον, ὑγρῇσι γενέσθαι.
(τερψιν δε ειναι αυταις την εις γενεσιν πτωσιν. αλλαχου δε ϕαναι ζην ημας τον εκεινων θανατον και ζηυ, εκεινας τον ημετερον θανατον [B 62], nicht bei Mansfeld)
