Location and history:

For the location and discovery, cf. {148}. This stone - "a small fragment" - which, together with no. {154}, "appears to have been left behind on the site" of Ballinrannig, "is no longer to be found". The only remainder available is a "wood block" which was "prepared for Bishop Graves from a drawing by [R.] Hitchcock" (thus MCIIC) who seems to have been the first recorder. The stone "has not been located" eversince (cf. also DPAS, no. 792 (8), p. 252).

Size: no size information is given in MCIIC or DPAS.

Figs.:

Reading MCIIC:

No reading is attempted of the inscription which "is evidently too fragmentary .. to tell us anything".

Reading DPAS, no. 792 (8), p. 252:

No reading is attempted.
