Wegbeschreibung vom Frankfurter Hauptbahnhof (hellblauer Pfeil) zur Goethe-Universität (Campus Bockenheim):

Mit der U-Bahn:

U4 Richtung Bockenheimer Warte. Die Haltestelle befindet sich im Souterrain des Hauptbahnhofs. Von der (End-)Haltestelle Bockenheimer Warte (blauer Pfeil)die Senckenberganlage in südlicher Richtung bis zur Einmündung der Georg-Voigt-Str. zurückgehen.

Mit der Straßenbahn:

Die Haltestellen befinden sich vor dem Hauptausgang des Bahnhofs, in östlicher Richtung. Unterführung nehmen, aber VOR dem grossen Treppenaufgang zur Innenstadt links eine schmale Treppe hoch, oder am Bahnhofsvorplatz den Fußgängerübergang nehmen.

Linie 16 in Richtung Ginnheim nehmen.
Es sind insgesamt drei Haltestellen bis zum Ziel: Hauptbahnhof - Düsseldorfer Str. - Platz der Republik - Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage (hellblauer Pfeil). Dort aussteigen und VOR (*) dem Marriott-Hotel-Komplex nach rechts in die Senckenberganlage in nördlicher Richtung, dann in die Georg-Voigt-Straße, in der sich unser Institut befindet.
 

Zu Fuß:

Im Hauptbahnhof zum Nordausgang, Fußgängerüberweg nehmen und kurzes Stück rechts, dann links in die Düsseldorfer Straße, stets weiter geradeaus, die Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage entlang bis zum Messegelände. Fußgängerüberwege zum Marriott-Hotel, hinter dem Hotel in die Georg-Voigt-Str. (wie oben).

 

Vom Flughafen Frankfurt zum Hauptbahnhof:

Jede S-Bahn (S8 oder S9) Richtung Hanau, Offenbach oder Ostendstr., dritte Station (nach Sportfeld, Niederrad).

How to proceed from Frankfurt Central Station (light blue arrow) to Goethe-University (Campus Bockenheim):

By underground (metro, U-Bahn):

Take "U4" to "Bockenheimer Warte". The metro station is within the Central Railway Station (souterrain, northern side). From station "Bockenheimer Warte" (blue arrow) go back down Senckenberganlage in southern direction to the back side of "Marriott Hotel" and enter Georg-Voigt-Str. to your right.

By tramway:

The stops are in front of the main exit of the Central Railway Station, eastern side. You will reach them either by crossing the street or taking the pedestrian subway, then take the steps to the left, upwards.

Take tramway No. 16, direction "Ginnheim", and get off at (third) stop "Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage" (light blue arrow) . Cross the street in front of "Marriott Hotel" and enter "Senckenberg-Anlage" in northern direction, then turn left into "Georg-Voigt-Str.".

By walking:

From Central Station, Northern exit, take the pedestrian crossing, turn to the right and follow the "Düsseldorfer Strasse" to the left, always straight ahead, along the "Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage", until reaching the "Marriott Hotel". Then proceed as indicated above.
 

How to get to Frankfurt Central Station from Frankfurt Airport:

Take any local train (S-Bahn S8 or S9) in direction of Hanau, Offenbach or Ostendstr.; Frankfurt Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) is the third station (after Sportfeld, Niederrad).

Take BUS 36 at Bockenheimer Warte in eastern direction (direction "Hainer Weg"). Leave the bus at "Oberlindau", just in front of the Main entrance of the Campus Westend building (IG-Farben-Hochhaus).

How to proceed from Campus Westend to Campus Bockenheim:

Take BUS 36 at Oberlindau in western direction (direction "Westbahnhof"). Leave the bus at "Bockenheimer Warte", in front of the University Library (Universitätsbibliothek).
